The Antelope Valley Birth Resource Network (AVBRN) is a collective of certified birth professionals who have recognized a need for professional quality support for families before, during and after childbirth. We serve the Antelope Valley including Palmdale, Lancaster, Quartz Hill, Rosamond, Edwards AFB, and the surrounding areas.
Our team of birth and counseling experts provide support not only for you and your family, but for each other. This collaboration of birth and post-partum doula support, bereavement services, childbirth education, nutritional and life coaching, lactation counseling, herbal remedies, and midwifery care ensures the highest quality care for you and your baby.
Your AVBRN team doesn’t work for a hospital, we work for you. Since we aren’t on staff at the hospital, we’re free to provide you with all the options for your birth.
Our passion is building a community of educated and informed women who understand their birth is unique and that not every pregnancy fits into same mold. Visit the Antelope Valley Birth Center, meet with our IBCLC, drop in on a childbirth class, or come to our weekly mom’s circle and see for yourself.
A doula is the ancient Greek work for “woman servant.” Today it refers to a trained and experienced labor support coach who provides physical and emotional support before, during, and after your pregnancy.
Childbirth education empowers women and their partners to make decisions regarding their care during pregnancy and labor. Out of hospital classes equip couples with confidence not just hospital policy.
